2010 ANNUAL LAND TAX SALE

The Annual Tax Sale is governed by Chapter 104, Revised Statutes of Missouri (RSMo). The land tax sale will be published in The Fulton Sun Newspaper on July 25, August 1, and August 08, 2010. The sale will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. Payment for all properties purchased at the sale must be paid in full on the day of the sale; non-clearance of check will void the sale.

You must pre-register in order to bid. Registration requires you to sign an affidavit stating that all of your property taxes are paid and your are not delinquent. Failure to sign the affidavit or signing falsely may invalidate such sale. You will need a Missouri Driver's License, or a Non-Drivers Missouri Identification Card in order to have the affidavit notarized (picture ID required). Any out of state buyers must appoint a citizen of the county as a registered agent and do so with the Collector prior to sale. You must be at least eighteen years old to bid at the land sale.
